You must complete a disclaimer for each child and adult running in the event. Children’s disclaimers must be signed by a parent or guardian. The disclaimer is available below or in the files section on the facebook page. These are giving consent for each child and adul. To be handed in at Registration. We need one for every child and adult taking part in the event. No waiver – No wristband. There will be a supply in registration to complete.
Each runner will be issued with a wristband for their wave, you will need to show this at the start pens.
If you are late for your wave, we will endeavour to set you off in the nearest wave with capacity in it. We can’t guarantee which one that will be. If you are late for the last wave the ticket will be forfeit.
There are lots of challenging obstacles and lots of easy ones. You should only attempt an obstacle if you are sure you are confident in your ability to complete it safely.
There is a dry route for every water obstacle… well fairly dry.
Also, we suggest you do not drink the water in the water obstacles, this can contain levels of bacteria and can contain sewage.
Before the race cover all cuts, scratches and sores with a waterproof plaster.
After the race always wash you hands thoroughly remember happy birthday x2 before eating anything.
Clean any cut you have picked up on the course. Don’t forget to get all your kit washed in detergent.
There are photographers on the course, be sure to smile. The photos will be published on their own sites after the event for Free.
We have a merchandise stall where you can get personalised t shirts in the event village.
The organisers reserve the right to close the course or an obstacle at any time.
There are no hot showers on site but an area with the facility to lightly wash off the worst of the mud is provided. We suggest you take plenty of wet wipes and bags for wet gear and a nice dry set of clothes and even a cuddly dressing gown or dry robe to keep warm after the race.
